Dear Sleepy Hollow Families and Community,

Welcome to Sleepy Hollow Elementary School!  I am thrilled to continue to be a part of the SHES team serving as your principal.  As we embark into a new school year, I bring with me twenty-two years of educational experience serving students in a variety of roles- special education teacher, literacy coach, assistant principal, and principal in a neighboring district before joining District 300.  I want to extend a warm welcome to each of you as we venture into a school year filled with intentional plans for student growth, high levels of learning, connection, and celebration.  

At Sleepy Hollow, we are committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment in which all students feel a sense of unconditional belonging.   We want your child to feel supported in their social-emotional learning, safe to take educational risks, and highly engaged in high levels of learning.  

A strong home-school connection is what will truly help our SHES students succeed at school and beyond.  This website holds much of the information you will need to get to know Sleepy Hollow and all that makes this a special place to learn.   Throughout the school year, we will keep you informed about school events, academic programs, and ways you can be involved in your child’s education.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share.
