Character Counts!

CC Kids

Character Counts is one of the most complete character building programs available to schools and other organizations. The program helps to instill wonderful values in students by educating them using fun activities and other resources. The program is based on six "pillars" of character. The pillars are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. Sleepy Hollow Elementary School takes character very seriously and is excited to offer this outstanding program to our students and community.

We will focus on each of the particular pillars of character throughout the remainder of the school year. Each month is listed below with its pillar:

November: Fairness (wear orange on November 2nd)

December/January: Trustworthiness (wear blue on December 1st)

February: Caring (wear red on February 1st)

March: Citizenship (wear purple on March 1st)
