You have my commitment that safety is my top priority. We have a team of staff members who take part in our Building Safety Team to continue to look at ways to make our school as safe as possible. As your principal, I want you to feel comfortable while your children are at school.
I take responsibility as the academic, emotional, and behavioral leader of the building. At Sleepy Hollow we have high expectations for learning and strive to reach each student at their own differentiated level. We are committed to creating an environment that is warm and friendly where we also have fun.
I am here to be available to parents and caregivers in any way that I may assist. I strive to communicate to the best of my abilities in an efficient manner. I trust that you will find me easy to approach. Please know that you can contact me anytime at school (224) 484-4900, on my cell (815) 715-3100, or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I truly love being part of the educational system in D300 at Sleepy Hollow. I have a great passion for being around young minds and watching them grow. One of my favorite days of the year is the first day of school. The emotions are at the highest and the reconnections are such great moments. I believe I was made to be a part of education and am grateful to be a part of a wonderful school!
I am also more that just your principal. I am an avid sports fan who cheers for Wisconsin teams across the board. You cannot blame for that, however. I was born in Wisconsin and spent all my years there until coming to work in D300. I think people are as committed to their sports teams as they are their families! (I do have a soft spot for the Sox and Blackhawks:). When I am not at school, my favorite place to be is on the golf course.
I have been a member of D300 since I began my career in education. I spent the first ten years at Perry Elementary as both the school social worker and assistant principal. This is my fifth year as part of the Sleepy Hollow family and I am excited for another great year!
